2North offers a conducive environment for birthing and postpartum care. With two birthing rooms, one operating room, and four postpartum rooms, we ensure comfortable and safe experiences for our patients.

At Cowichan Maternity Clinic (CMC), we operate under a hybrid model, balancing responsibilities between clinic and hospital settings. Our team comprises full-time physicians, a nurse, and a dedicated midwife. Collaboratively, we offer comprehensive services both in our clinic and through postpartum home visits while also contributing to the healthcare landscape through our efforts at the hospital.
While each maternity care provider may have external commitments beyond CMC, we are dedicated to accommodating diverse schedules and finding creative solutions to ensure seamless coverage of CMC responsibilities. Our flexible approach allows our team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance and engage in various work settings while delivering exceptional care to our patients.
At CMC, our commitment to comprehensive care extends around the clock. With 24/7 OBGYN, Anesthesia, and Pediatric coverage available both in the hospital and during clinic hours, our patients receive uninterrupted support and attention whenever they need it.
